Robbie's Of Islamorada

The view of Robbie's coming across the bridge.

Robbie's is a "must see" if you are visiting the Florida Keys, especially if you are interested in fishing for tarpon. It is the only place you will see so many tarpon up close "in the wild".

Tarpon swimming around the 18' Wagner we rented.

The tarpon are not restrained in any way. They simply hang out at Robbie's for the food. We visited Robbie's the week of April 14th, 2002 and there were close to a hundred tarpon around the docks. When you come in with a boat you just drive slowly through the tarpon.

More tarpon than you will see in a week of fishing!

Robbie's has some very competitive boat rental rates with half day rate discounts for extended rentals. We took out their 18' Wagner for the week and couldn't have been more pleased. From the bimini top to the live bait well, the boat had everything we needed for comfortably exploring and fishing the area.

Robbie's is located at MM77 just after you cross the bridge leaving Islamorada and entering Lower Matecumbe. You will see Robbie's on the right. As soon as you get off the bridge turn on the drive to the right and go back towards the marina.

Robbie's also offers snorkeling tours, eco tours, off shore and back country fishing charters. If you are staying in the Islamorada area, we strongly recommend you look into Robbie's for your boating or fishing needs. If you are going somewhere else in the Keys, at least stop in to feed the tarpon.
